Hello All,

BLASTER icon and choice.

When you press the Blast From icon (just to the right of the Edit icon, bottom row) you get a pop-up with 3 choices:

Light Bar

Phone

Cancel

It strikes me that this is unecessary, there are really only 2 options - Phone or Light Bar. So why not just let pressing the icon toggle between the 2 alternatives. An added benefit to this is that:-

• You swap mode immediately.
• You do this with 1 key press.
• You do not have to keep looking at the screen to correctly press a subsequent option.

The 3rd option CANCEL is thus redundant redundant. If you press the BLASTER key in error just press it again to return to where you were. Hey presto !

You may want to put a brief pop-up on screen to inform the user but this should be without the need for a key press.

Another excellent suggestion. We will so that. It will take some time to propagate through the apps.
The reason we had the pop up was it allows for some more info about what the button does. Also we did not anticipate that users would want to switch often.

Great stuff.

Interestingly nearly all my stuff is within range of the Light Bar except my Sony AM/FM Rx which I use to drive the 5.1 system. This is tucked away and does not respond to the Light Bar, so I have, at present, to switch to iPhone. Wholesale furniture repositioning and speaker rewiring needs a great deal of 'negotiation' in this house. I'll try a longer lead on the light bar and different positions.

At least this App is helping me get rid of the heap of physical remotes.
